Motivation

Qin Shi Huang had set up a “Spy System” during that time; the usage of the “Spy System” is soldiers spy on each others to did their work, they also spy on each others at home and at home in their neighbourhood or village. However if someone saw someone break the law, if the person bring the lawbreakers to Qin Shi Huang and that people will be rewarded; and if someone didn’t bring the lawbreakers to Qin Shi Huang, that person will be executed. This system is simple and worked very well in that time.

Qin Shi Huang only provided the basic need such as food, water, place to stay and weapon. This is called fringe benefit, Qin Shi Huang only provided that and not paying money.

The soldiers and captains also had motivated in other bloody way, example like a soldier or captain kill a captain level person and bring back the head of that people they will be rewarded by up the ranking, 1 head up 1 rank the maximum rank is 8, this can strongly motivated them and Qin Shi Huang can get the strong military.

Opinion:-

I think that if Qin Shi Huang can pay some money to the soldiers or captains family then the soldiers and captains may will to their best to protect the country and fight with others country. I think that they might have the train team building because they need to be cooperate each others to fight to others country.

I think that Qin Shi Huang strongly motivated his army but just he didn’t pay to the soldiers, beside that the soldiers want to up rank is because the higher the rank they are the more needs they get. I think that the most thing motivated me in that place are rank, because I will be proud of myself and others people will be listen to me. The soldiers and captains may motivated by themselves because they have their own family need to carry up and take care so they cannot die in the war, they need to survive.
